Large tree blocks entrance to Chestnut Hill neighborhood

Local Box 74-4, large tree and wires down. Delmar Fire Dept responded for a large tree into power lines in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood, on Mallard Drive. The only entrance to the neighborhood off US13 was blocked. Engine 74-3 responded and found a large tree toppled into power lines which also pulled down a power pole. At least one lane of northbound US13 may be closed as crews work. Delmarva Power, Asplundh Tree Service, Verizon and other agencies are working to first remove the tree, then access Mallard Drive to work on the wires and power pole.
