House fire in Delmar

At approximately 02:30 Delmar, Gumboro, Laurel, Parsonsburg and SCEMS 102 were alerted for a residential structure fire on Brittingham Road on the Delaware side. 74 Command arrived to find a house fully involved. Engine-Tanker 74-2 arrived next and placed a water cannon in service. Delmar Tanker 74-5, Gumboro Engine 79-2, Tanker 79-5, Laurel Engine-Tanker 81-5, Parsonsburg Rescue-Engine 604, Mardela Springs Engine-Tanker 904, Blades Engine 71-3 and Sussex County EMS Medic 102 were on-scene. Seaford provided stand-by coverage at Laurel. Sharptown and Pittsville covered at Delmar.
