Delmar Fire Department Job Announcement:   

Part Time Paramedic/Firefighter

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years old

Current Maryland Paramedic

Current National Registry Paramedic

Firefighter 1 (or equivalent)

Current CPR/AED

Current ACLS & PALS (or equivalent)

Current MD and/or DE Emergency Vehicle Operator

DE EMT (6 months to get)

Hours: Employee will work filling shifts as needed by EMS Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

Employee will be responsible for staffing the ambulance, providing quality care in accordance with MD ALS protocols, and fire suppression activities as needed. The employee will be responsible for maintaining all certifications required by the DFD. Also, daily checks and additional job duties as required.
