JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

Part Time EMT

Qualifications

Nationally Registered EMT

Maryland and/or Delaware EMT

Valid Driver’s License with EVO

Current CPR certification

Firefighter 1 or equivalent (to be approved by DFD)

1 year of experience driving emergency vehicles

Class B Driver’s License (Preferred)

Pumps (Preferred)

Must obtain MD/DE EMT credentials withing 6 months of hire

Hours

Employee will work filling shifts as needed by the EMS Supervisor

Overtime pay after 40 hours

Job Responsibilities

Employee will be responsible for staffing the ambulance, providing quality patient care in accordance to MD/DE Protocols, and fire suppression activities as needed. The employee will be responsible for maintaining all certifications as required by the DFD. Also responsible for daily checks of units and equipment, janitorial duties and any other duties assigned.
