Serious MVC with fly-out in Laurel

Delmar Fire Dept responded to a serious MVC in Laurel on Thursday evening. Laurel Fire Dept was already on-scene of a fatal MVC in their first-due when this call was alerted. Delmar Fire Dept Paramedic A-74, Rescue 74 and Laurel Engine 81-4 responded to Bi-State Blvd near Bacons Road. Units arrived to find a three vehicle collision with two vehicles severely damaged. A total of 6 patients were transported, 5 by ground and 1 by helicopter. Delmar and Sharptown FD's transported five patients and Delaware State Police Helicopter Trooper 2 transported a priority-1 patient. Delmar Engine 74-3 and Ambulance B-74 were also on-scene.
