3 reported structure fires for Delmar

Oct 18-19, 2017. A busy evening for Delmar Fire Dept included responding to three reported building fires. At 9:17pm Sussex alerted Delmar, Gumboro and Parsonsburg Fire Dept's for a building fire on Line Road. Units arrived to find a controlled burn, however no structures were involved. While units were on-scene with that incident, Wicomico alerted Delmar, Salisbury and Hebron Fire Dept's for a house fire on Lynch Drive at 9:27pm. Units arrived at that location and found a house full of smoke. At 2:12am Sussex alerted Laurel, Delmar and Sharptown Fire Dept's for a house fire on Branch School Road in Laurel. Units arrived to find a smoke condition but no fire at that location. Delmar Fire Dept's ambulances kept busy during this time as well, running two Priority-1 medical calls unrelated to the fire scenes.
