On March 19, 2015, Sussex EOC alerted Station 74 to assist Laurel Fire Department on a garge fire in the town of Laurel. First 81 units arrived on the scene and advised of a working fire in a detached garage. Engine 74-2 responded with a staffing of 5 under the command of Assistant Chief Bridges (74-17). The crew from 74-2 was assigned the roof division. Members performed ventilation and overhaul. Rescue 74 arrived and assisted the interior crews with extinguishment and overhaul. The units from 74 cleared the scene a little after 1500hrs.
