MVC with entrapment on Ocean Highway

Station 74 was alerted for a reported Motor Vehicle Collision on Ocean Highway (US 13) at Stage Road. Units arrived to find a single vehicle accident with a car into a guardrail, with an occupant trapped. The call was upgraded to entrapment. Rescue 74 arrived and stabilized the car and extricated the occupant using spreaders and O-cutters. One patient was transported Priority-2 to the hospital. Units on-scene: Paramedic B-74, Ambulance A-74, Rescue 74 and Engine 74-3.
